In May 2005 the Board advised the profession (via Notice to the Profession - May 2005) that it was considering a policy on descriptors to denote areas of expertise, and a copy of the Queensland Board's policy on this issue was provided for information.
Following the receipt of comments from the profession, the Board held meetings with representatives from the APS (SA), IPPP (SA) and the Department of Education & Children's Services to prepare a policy for psychologists in South Australia.
This policy has now been finalised and will be recommended to the new Board when the proposed new legislation is proclaimed. To view the policy, please click on the link below:
